Topic: Test Environments

Hi I am on a shared server ( I have a shared hosting package) and I was wondering about the fesability of test environments. If I  want to play around and change things is there a total test system that I have access to?

Hi,

it all depend on what you want access, as you are on Shared Hosting you don't have a lot of control over the specific environment, php config etc.  However you would be able to create a separate test domain to use - every shared server has a development domain pointing at it, and you can create a sub domain of this whenever you like.  You can make and/or break that to your hearts content. However this may lead to an account limitation, in terms of number of domains allowed and disk usage space. If you need to discuss this further please contact us.
